Bob has had his finger on the pulse of sailing for years, and has covered every America’s Cup since 1967. He currently writes for The Observer and The Guardian as well as Sail World. Weather 30/6

We have a very clear and sunny day in Valencia today, with similar conditions to yesterday. The gradient sea breeze is building normally, and should fill in to 10-12 knots by race time. This will make it slightly lighter than yesterday. The pressure is well and truely on now, and today’s race should be a beauty.

Pretty tough to find a place to watch the All Blacks here, but there is a good ticker from Planet Rugby :)

Forecast: Gradient wind continues from the south with good conditions locally for sea breeze development. Similar sea breeze conditions, albeit slightly lighter. Winds start 7-9 knots south southeasterly, building to 10-12 knots and backing to southeast during the race. Some high cloud cover – Temperature 29 degrees
